EduSpots, an award-winning, community-driven education charity, is looking for an inspiring and innovative Education Programmes Manager to lead its learner programmes in Ghana. This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the most dynamic and inclusive education movements on the continent, shaping future-ready, creative learning for thousands of learners.
About EduSpots
EduSpots is a UK and Ghanaian registered charity dedicated to empowering grassroots educators—called Catalysts—through local learning centres known as Spots. Since 2016, EduSpots has helped establish and sustain 50 community-owned education centres across Ghana, co-developed with over 400 Catalysts.
The organization’s vision is to support communities in creating the futures they want to see, through inclusive, community-led education. EduSpots runs three core leadership programmes—Ignite, Catalyse, and Inspire—alongside subject-focused learning initiatives such as:

Role Overview: Education Programmes Manager

Location: Remote (home-based in Ghana with travel)

This is a leadership role that blends pedagogical expertise, program innovation, and team management. The selected candidate will oversee EduSpots’ diverse and growing learner-focused education team, manage the organization’s online education hub, and ensure that resources and learning environments reflect inclusive, creative, and community-rooted pedagogies.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of EduSpots’ learner education model, emphasizing creativity, inclusion, and future-readiness.

Manage and coordinate a team of Coordinators and Specialists responsible for early years education, literacy, gender equity, digital skills, and environmental/STEM education.

Oversee the delivery of education across in-person academies, online training, WhatsApp learning hubs, and monthly learning challenges.

Develop training guides, inclusion resources, safeguarding materials, and toolkits.

Supervise monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems (MEL), contributing to strategic decision-making.

Design and implement systems to track pedagogical progress and learning outcomes across the network.

Contribute to network-wide research and produce analytical reports on impact and progress.

Participate in Spot visits and conduct regular programme assessments.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in basic education in Ghana, preferably curriculum development and community-based education projects.

A proven track record in designing and delivering impactful education programmes, especially in grassroots or low-resource contexts.

Excellent facilitation skills—both in-person and online.

Digital fluency, including strong IT skills and ability to work in remote, tech-driven environments.

Experience with research, monitoring and evaluation, and impact reporting.

Strong team management skills and a collaborative leadership style.
