OECD Paid Internship Programme
Overview
The OECD Internship Programme offers motivated and curious students from around the world the opportunity to gain practical experience at one of the world’s leading international policy institutions. Interns work alongside OECD experts and professionals, contributing to the Organisation’s mission to build better policies for better lives.
Internships are offered year-round across a wide range of disciplines, and can be completed in-person, hybrid, or fully remotely, depending on the needs of the directorate.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from students who are:

Enrolled in a fully accredited degree programme (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) for the entire duration of the internship

From diverse academic and cultural backgrounds

Fluent in English or French (knowledge of both is a plus)

Skilled in communication, research, and teamwork
Your Role as an OECD Intern
Intern responsibilities vary by team, but may include:

Preparing reports, studies, policy briefs, and working papers

Conducting literature reviews and data analysis

Supporting the development of publications and technical annexes

Participating in team meetings, seminars, and workshops

Liaising with stakeholders such as national governments, researchers, and international organisations

Assisting in event organisation, communications, planning, and evaluation
Whether you are working in climate policy, AI ethics, international education, public governance, or regulatory reform, your work will help shape impactful, evidence-based policy across OECD member countries.
