Kindness Community Fund 2025 : Nominate Local Changemakers Now
Born This Way Foundation has launched its 2025 call for changemakers nomination for the Kindness in Community Fund, a global initiative supporting community-led, youth-focused mental health organizations. This year’s fund is supported by Sephora as part of their Pride Month campaign and is dedicated to funding mental health resources that are free, accessible, and rooted in equity.
Eligible Countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States — plus additional nominations welcome globally for future consideration.
About the Fund
The Kindness in Community Fund awards grants to youth-focused organizations that are working at the grassroots level to support mental health. In 2025, Born This Way Foundation seeks to uplift organizations informed and led by young people and rooted in inclusion, equity, and community engagement.
Organizations may receive up to $150,000 USD to support mental health initiatives that reflect the spirit of partnership and are co-designed with and for young people.
This year’s fundraising partner, Sephora, is donating $1 USD from every Haus Labs product sold during June to the Kindness in Community Fund.
Who Can Nominate?
Young people aged 15 to 24 are especially encouraged to nominate organizations. Greater consideration will be given to nominations submitted by youth.
You can nominate tax-exempt organizations, NGOs, and nonprofits that:

Provide free and accessible mental health resources

Are informed and/or led by young people
-
Embed inclusion and equity in their work
-
Operate in or serve one of the eligible countries
Nominations from outside the listed countries are welcome and will be saved for future opportunities.

Deadline: June 30, 2025 at 12 PM PST
Shortlisted organizations will be invited to submit a simplified proposal, and recipients will be selected in consultation with the Foundation’s Youth Advisory Board, composed of young leaders aged 15–24 from around the world.
Grant recipients will be announced following the review of nominations and proposals.
