Applications are now open for the groundbreaking Mission 300 Fellowship Program, an initiative designed to place young African professionals within high-level government institutions to drive Africa’s energy transformation. This prestigious Fellowship supports Mission 300 (M300), a bold partnership led by the World Bank Group and African Development Bank, along with the Rockefeller Foundation, RF Catalytic Capital, the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), and Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL).

About the Mission 300 Fellowship Program

Inspired by the highly successful ODI Fellowship Scheme, which has strengthened public institutions globally for over 60 years, the Mission 300 Fellowship embeds skilled African professionals into key government offices — including the Presidency, Prime Minister’s Office, and Ministries of Energy and Finance.

As a Mission 300 Fellow, you will:

Where Will Mission 300 Fellows Be Placed?

Twelve African countries have already launched National Energy Compacts at the Africa Energy Summit, with up to 20 more expected to join. Fellows will be assigned to Compact Delivery and Monitoring Units (CDMUs) within senior government agencies.
