AFIDEP is a registered non-profit organization in Kenya and Malawi where it has offices (in Nairobi and Lilongwe)

About the Project

The African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) is launching its thirteenth round of research for the Africa Integrity Indicators (AII), an annual project undertaken in partnership with the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.

This project evaluates key social, economic, political, and anti-corruption mechanisms at the national level across all African countries. The new round will focus on the practical implementation and enforcement of legal and policy frameworks in categories such as safety and the rule of law, sustainable economic opportunity, and human development.

To accomplish this, AFIDEP is assembling a global team of journalists, researchers, and subject matter experts across Africa to conduct original research and gather data for the Ibrahim Index of African Governance.
