Position Overview
General Motors (GM) is offering an exceptional opportunity through their Entry-Level Rotational Program in Human Resources. This program is designed for recent graduates who aspire to develop their careers in various HR roles, including Manufacturing HR, field HR, and HR Centers of Excellence (COE).

Work Arrangement: This position is categorized as onsite. The successful candidate will be expected to report to
- Arlington, Texas
- Marion, Indiana
- Roanoke, Indiana
on a full-time basis for the first ~12 months. The location may change based on business needs.
Program Structure
The HR TRACK (Technical Rotation and Career Knowledge) program offers three rotational assignments, each lasting approximately 12 months. Participants will gain experience in diverse areas such as:
- Manufacturing HR/LR Partner: Work in a dynamic plant environment, addressing both hourly and salaried employee issues.
- Field HR Partner: Collaborate with salaried and hourly employees across various business functions.
- COE Expert: Engage with HR Centers of Excellence such as Global Talent Acquisition, Global Talent Development, Compensation and Benefits, Workforce Analytics, DEI, etc.
Key Responsibilities
Participants will:
- Support labor relations, hourly employment, and salaried human resources.
- Partner with executives and HR business leaders to develop talent strategies.
- Execute change management and organizational development activities.
- Advise on restructures, transformation efforts, job design, and workforce planning.
- Communicate HR policy changes and educate leaders and employees.
- Identify training and leadership development needs.
- Serve as change agents in HR transformation initiatives.
- Analyze trends and develop HR solutions based on metrics and data.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks.
Qualifications
Required:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related discipline.
- Graduating between December 2024 and June 2025.
- Willingness to work in TX or IN for the first rotation and relocate for future rotations.
Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to utilize data and analytics effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and initiative-taking abilities.
- Analytical and project management skills.
- Knowledge in various HR practice areas.
- Strategic planning and change management skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $72,000 – $100,000, based on relevant factors.
Bonus Potential: Incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
