ClimateWorks Lab: Bridging the Gap Between Climate Beliefs and Professional Responsibilities
Are you feeling a disconnect between your climate beliefs and professional responsibilities? Do you want to help your company build a resilient and equitable city? If you’re ready to make a tangible impact on climate change, consider applying to ClimateWorks Lab.
ClimateWorks Lab is a pilot program for young intrapreneurs aged 18-30. It empowers employed youth from various sectors, including hospitality, professional services, trades, and arts, to integrate climate values into their workplaces. Participants will gain skills and resources to drive climate action within their organizations.
The program uses CityHive’s Knowledge-to-Action framework, which emphasizes community-based learning and action planning. Participants will learn how local governments operate, investigate solutions to embed climate values in their workplaces, and collaborate with employers to implement climate action plans over five months.
Participants will also present their progress at a Community Showcase & Networking Event, celebrating their efforts towards sustainability.
If you are ready to align your climate beliefs with your professional responsibilities, apply to ClimateWorks Lab and start your journey toward a greener career. More info here.
