Meta’s Creative X is offering NeXt Up, a unique year-long apprenticeship program for aspiring creative professionals. This hands-on program provides an opportunity to work across various disciplines within Meta’s internal creative agency, where participants will be involved in developing impactful campaigns and visual content for Meta’s family of apps, including Facebook and Instagram.

Program Structure
Participants will apprentice in different roles, collaborating on projects that range from brand campaigns to real-time cultural responses. The program is structured to foster creativity, develop professional skills, and immerse participants in Meta’s creative ecosystem.

Key Details

• Duration: 12 months
• Location: New York City (minimum 3 days in-office)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Eligibility:
  • U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or those with appropriate visa rights
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Less than three years of experience in the respective field
• No prior marketing or higher education required

Available Roles and Responsibilities

1. Art Director
   As an Art Director, you’ll be involved in setting the visual tone for films, commercials, and digital media. You’ll help craft visual systems that convey Meta’s brand stories and contribute to high-profile initiatives.
   • Responsibilities:
     • Drive visual storytelling and own art direction for projects
     • Collaborate with writers, designers, and strategists
     • Support senior art directors on major brand initiatives
   • Requirements:
     • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
     • Attention to detail and passion for visual craft
2. Copywriter
   Copywriters will conceptualize and write engaging content for Meta’s campaigns, contributing to films, commercials, and digital media. You’ll help shape the tone of Meta’s brand across various platforms.
   • Responsibilities:
     • Create compelling brand narratives and strategic copy
     • Work collaboratively within a creative team
