Empowering the Next Generation: Girls Into VC Fellowship

The Girls Into VC Fellowship is breaking new ground as the first educational venture capital program designed exclusively for young women. This 10-week immersive experience offers participants a unique opportunity to dive into the world of venture capital (VC) and startups, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a competitive industry.

The fellowship is structured around a combination of comprehensive activities, engaging reading materials, and community-building events. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of VC, learn how to evaluate potential startups, and develop a robust professional network that will support their growth well beyond the program.

Applications are open until September 4th @ 11:59pm EST, and they are reviewed on a rolling basis—so early submission is encouraged!

•Asynchronous Assignments: Throughout the fellowship, participants will work through a specialized workbook, sharing their insights and questions with the community. Active participation in discussions, facilitated by community admins, is a key part of the learning experience. Expect to dedicate around 5 hours weekly to these tasks.

•Weekly Meetings: Every Saturday, from September 14th through November 16th, participants will engage in a 90-minute virtual session (10:30 am – 12 pm PT / 1:30 pm – 3 pm ET). These meetings provide a platform to discuss the week’s content, exchange ideas, and deepen understanding of the venture capital landscape.

•Capstone Project: The fellowship culminates in a hands-on investment simulation, where participants create an investment memo and term sheet, applying everything they’ve learned throughout the program.

•Duration: 10 weeks, from September 14th to November 16th

•Cohort Size: 20 participants, divided into 4 or 5 small groups for focused learning

•Meetups: Optional in-person meetups will be arranged based on participants’ locations

•Eligibility: Open to U.S.-based high school and college students with a genuine curiosity about venture capital—no prior experience required
