About the Position:
At the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), we are committed to supporting the implementation of development policy goals worldwide. We are looking for an Intern in Communication and Event Management to join our team and contribute to the Mobilize Net Zero project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support external and internal communication of the “Changing Transport” brand through website content creation, social media management, and newsletter development
- Assist in planning and executing onsite and online events related to communication and program design
- Create content for online and print communication products, including online campaigns
- Contribute to internal knowledge management and other tasks related to promoting sustainable mobility
Candidate Profile:
- Studying or graduated in event management, media, communications, environmental, political, or social sciences, urban planning, or a related field
- Interest in development policy and understanding of challenges faced by the transport sector in emerging and developing countries
- Strong digital skills and familiarity with social media platforms
- Ability to implement creative ideas independently and efficiently
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with a hands-on mentality
- Proficient in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills; knowledge of German and other languages is a plus
- Experience with Office programs and design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is advantageous
- Ability to work in an international team with intercultural communication skills
Stipend:
- Monthly stipend of €2.134,52 (gross)
