Call for Nominations: 2024 EQUALS in Tech Awards
The EQUALS Global Partnership is excited to announce the call for nominations for the 2024 EQUALS in Tech Awards. We are seeking outstanding initiatives, projects, movements, organizations, and institutions worldwide dedicated to bridging the digital gender divide.
About the Awards
Each year, the EQUALS in Tech Awards recognize innovative and impactful efforts to enhance women’s and girls’ access to the internet, digital skills, and career opportunities in the tech sector. We also honor our partners with the Special Recognition Partner Award. Winners gain global recognition, joining a vibrant community committed to gender equality in the digital era.
Award Categories
We encourage nominations for initiatives of all sizes across the following categories:
- Access: Initiatives aimed at improving digital technology access, connectivity, and security for women and girls.
- Skills: Projects that support the development of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills for women and girls.
- Leadership in Tech: Efforts focused on promoting women into decision-making roles within the ICT sector.
- Leadership in SME: Initiatives by tech sector companies addressing the digital gender divide.
- Research: Projects prioritizing research on gender digital divides and generating reliable evidence to tackle diversity issues within STEM and computing fields.
Submission Details
- Deadline: 1 September 2024, 23:59 CET
- Nomination Form: Available in English Arabic Spanish Chinese Russian French
Complete the form and submit your nomination by the deadline! The award ceremony, where we will celebrate the winners, will take place later this year at a venue to be announced.
