At McKinsey, we believe in fostering outstanding women leaders and maintaining gender parity to ensure diversity within our teams. Our upcoming event, “Women in Operations – Balance Your Mind,” aims to empower women from across South Africa through an engaging and insightful experience.
Event Highlights
The theme of the event addresses a common question in our daily lives: mindful or mind full? Participants will join like-minded women and McKinsey consultants in an interactive simulation to see firsthand how agile implementation can boost productivity, speed up time-to-market, and better meet customer needs.
Beyond agile techniques, attendees will gain insights into McKinsey’s problem-solving approach and explore various functional areas within operations. To support mental well-being, the event will include practical mindfulness tips.
Networking and Learning Opportunities
Participants will have the chance to connect with consultants from McKinsey’s Operations Practice. This is a unique opportunity to learn about their career experiences, project insights, and how they balance their professional and personal lives. Eligibility Criteria
To join the “Women in Operations – Balance Your Mind” event, you should self-identify as a woman, be based in South Africa, and meet one of the following requirements:
– Working professionals: Background in engineering or business with work experience in operations, such as manufacturing, supply chain management, product development, procurement, service operations, implementation, capital excellence, or quality management.
– Current students: Pursuing a master’s degree, MBA, or PhD with a focus on engineering or business.
