About the EMPOWER Program
The EMPOWER program is committed to scaling up evidence-based mental health interventions globally. As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting various research projects, from design and implementation to data analysis and dissemination.

Position Overview
The Research Assistant will perform a wide range of research activities, including:

  • Research Coordination and Execution: Assisting with research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Content Development: Contributing to the creation of digital training content, assessment protocols, and intervention materials.
  • Grant Support: Supporting the development and submission of grant proposals.
  • Administrative Support: Managing project records, coordinating meetings, and providing general administrative support.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field is preferred.
  • At least two years of relevant research experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital content development and management systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and carry out designated research tasks related to EMPOWER.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of project materials.
  • Support the preparation of protocols for ethical review.
  • Prepare and maintain project records.
  • Assist in grant proposal development and submission.
  • Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through publications and presentations.
  • Collaborate with research team members and external partners.
