- Organization must have an annual budget under $1 million

Applicants must operate in at least one of the following Southern U.S. states:

- Arkansas
- Florida
- Georgia
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Mississippi
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
- Virginia
- West Virginia
- Texas
Eligible Focus Areas
Organizations must be working on initiatives that address at least one of the following:
- Gender-based violence prevention and response
- Reproductive and maternal health justice
- Justice system and carceral system reform
- Restorative justice practices
- Safety and wellbeing of Black girls and women
- Advocacy against adultification and dehumanization
Key Responsibilities of Funded Work
Funded organizations are expected to demonstrate impact through:
Program Implementation
- Designing or continuing initiatives that support Black girls, women, and femme youth
- Implementing advocacy or direct service programs
- Strengthening community safety systems
Community Engagement
- Engaging directly with affected communities
- Incorporating feedback from stakeholders
- Ensuring culturally responsive programming

- Defining clear outcomes and success indicators
