Position Overview
- Role: Toronto Urban Fellow – Research Associate
- Duration: 12 months (Full-time)
- Salary: $81,593.24 annually
- Working Hours: 35 hours/week (Monday to Friday)

Job Summary
As a Research Associate, you will support policy development, research, and strategic projects focused on social, economic, and urban issues. You will work alongside senior professionals to deliver meaningful insights that influence decision-making across the city.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct policy research and data analysis
- Support project design and implementation
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data
- Prepare reports, briefing notes, and presentations
- Engage in stakeholder consultations and public engagement
- Evaluate government policies and legislative proposals
- Contribute to equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
Key Qualifications
To be considered, applicants must:
- Hold a Master’s, PhD, JD, or LLB (completed within the past 3 years, not earlier than January 2023)
- Have at least one year of relevant work experience in policy, research, or related fields
- Demonstrate strong skills in:
- Research and analysis
- Project management
- Communication and stakeholder engagement
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada
Additional assets (not mandatory):
Experience in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
