Role Overview: Regional Focal Point (APAC)
As a Regional Focal Point, you will serve as the key liaison between SDSN Youth’s global leadership and regional youth networks across the Asia-Pacific region. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills to support and guide National Coordinators effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact between SDSN Youth and regional networks
- Support National Coordinators in project management and strategic planning
- Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across countries
Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and evaluate activities within regional networks
- Ensure alignment with SDGs and SDSN Youth objectives
- Report regional progress to global leadership teams
Communication and Engagement
- Organize monthly calls with National Coordinators
- Participate in global and regional meetings
- Maintain consistent communication across time zones
Strategic Development
- Identify growth opportunities within the region
- Support recruitment of new National Coordinators
- Promote SDSN Youth initiatives to relevant stakeholders
