Role Overview: Junior Economist and Modeler
As a Junior Economist and Modeler, you will join the Structural Policy and Research Division (ECO/SPRD). You will contribute to cutting-edge research on macroeconomic and structural models, helping generate insights that guide economic policies across countries.
You will work under the supervision of a Senior Economist and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including:
- Governments and central banks
- International organizations
- Research institutions and think tanks

Key Responsibilities
1. Modelling and Policy Analysis
- Contribute to the development of macroeconomic and structural models
- Conduct quantitative analyses tailored to specific countries
- Support policy recommendations based on empirical research
- Assist in coordinating modelling work within the division
- Provide technical guidance to research assistants and trainees
2. Research and Drafting
- Draft analytical papers and reports for OECD committees and publications
- Summarize findings from economic models and research
- Contribute to flagship OECD outputs such as:

3. Data Collection and Management
- Gather and compile economic data
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and comparability

Ideal Candidate Profile
Academic Requirements

Technical Skills
