1. Community Health Promoter (Uganda)
This role focuses on improving health outcomes through community education and prevention strategies.
What You Will Do
- Promote maternal and child health
- Lead awareness campaigns on disease prevention (malaria, HIV, nutrition)
- Train community members on hygiene and sanitation
- Support health data tracking and behavior change initiatives
- Organize community health programs and events
Uganda faces a significant burden of preventable diseases, with approximately 75% of illnesses linked to preventable causes. Volunteers play a critical role in shifting focus from treatment to prevention.

Training and Living Experience
All volunteers undergo 10 weeks of intensive training, including:
