International Human Rights Law Summer School 2026 at Oxford: Fully Funded Scholarship Opportunities Available
The Bonavero Institute for Human Rights, in partnership with George Washington University Law School, is offering a prestigious 26-day residential Summer School in International Human Rights Law at the University of Oxford Faculty of Law.
Taking place at New College, Oxford, this intensive academic programme provides participants with advanced university-level training in international human rights law within one of the world’s most historic academic environments.
With three scholarships worth £6,500 each available for 2026, this programme is an exceptional opportunity for individuals committed to advancing human rights globally.
Programme Overview
Hosted by the Bonavero Institute for Human Rights at the University of Oxford Faculty of Law, the Summer School combines academic rigor with practical legal insights.
Participants will engage in:

Scholarships
Three scholarships of £6,500 each are available for the 2026 Summer School.
These awards aim to support talented individuals who:

Have an established connection to the human rights field (paid or voluntary)

Demonstrate potential to create meaningful change

Would be unable to afford the full course fees without financial assistance
Priority will be given to applicants who are ordinarily resident in low-income or lower middle-income countries, as defined by the World Bank.
