As a Communications and Network Engagement Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting CIVICUS’ global engagement through digital platforms. Your responsibilities will include creating compelling digital content, engaging with networks and membership, and collaborating with communicators across sectors to foster civic action. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys blending creativity, analytics, and relationship-building in a meaningful context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative digital content for LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Strengthen network engagement with CIVICUS Narratives Network and members.
• Build relationships with communicators across civil society sectors.
• Support initiatives that amplify citizen activism and civic participation.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, social media, creative content development, or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of a major Global South language is a plus.
• Experience in social media content creation, management, and analytics.
• Commitment to positive social change and civil society work.
• Strong interest in community engagement and civic action communications.
