About the European Forum Alpbach Scholarship Programme

Every year, hundreds of young talents travel to Alpbach to take part in a unique two-week experience that combines academic learning, policy dialogue, and cross-cultural exchange. Scholarship holders are at the heart of the Forum and are the only participants who remain for the full duration of the event.

How to Apply for the EFA Scholarship Programme

Applicants can submit their applications through two pathways depending on their regional affiliation.

Application via the Forum Alpbach Network (FAN)

Applicants with nationality or residency ties to specific FAN clubs must apply through their respective alumni club.

If there is no FAN club in your country, or your local club does not have its own selection process, you may apply directly via the EFA online application platform.
