About the UNICEF Youth Skill Development and Livelihoods Programme
UNICEF seeks partners to design and implement interventions that improve youth employability and economic participation in critical supply chain sectors. The programme targets skills development and job pathways connected to:
-
Health commodity distribution
-
Pharmaceutical systems
-
Nutrition supply chains
-
Community service and employment services
The overall goal is to strengthen workforce readiness while improving sector performance and sustainability.
Why This Opportunity Matters
This UNICEF initiative addresses youth unemployment by linking training directly to real economic sectors with workforce demand. The approach prioritises practical employability outcomes instead of standalone training — helping young people transition into sustainable careers.
What Selected Organisations Will Do
Successful applicants will support youth through structured interventions such as:
-
Technical and vocational skills development
-
Workforce readiness programmes
-
Supply chain training and operational exposure
-
Employment pathway creation in health and nutrition sectors
-
Capacity strengthening for youth livelihoods
