Another Way Youth Advisory Group 2026: Paid Leadership Opportunity for Young Environmental Changemakers in the UK
The Another Way Youth Advisory Group is inviting applications from young people aged 15–25 who are passionate about environmental action and eager to shape youth-led climate initiatives across the UK. This new advisory group will play a central role in guiding Another Way’s programming, strategy, and youth engagement efforts—ensuring that young voices remain at the heart of the organisation’s mission.
Founded in 2019 by then-16-year-old activist Amy Bray, Another Way empowers young people to take planet-positive action through its flagship Power of 10 movement. From youth-led podcasts and nationwide climate summits to workshops, festivals, digital communities, and science translation projects, the organisation continues to grow a diverse network of young environmental leaders. The Youth Advisory Group now expands this mission by embedding youth insight directly into major organisational decisions.
About the Another Way Youth Advisory Group
Another Way is recruiting 6–10 young changemakers to join its first Youth Advisory Group. Members will meet quarterly to share ideas, discuss programme strategies, and contribute to new initiatives that resonate with young people across the UK.
Advisors will collaborate closely with Another Way’s senior leadership, including the CEO and the Director of Youth Programmes. Discussions may cover everything from improving Power of 10 Festivals and designing engaging climate activities, to reviewing strategies around the Power of 10 app, outreach efforts, and equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
Each advisor will also be paired with a mentor from the Another Way team or board to support their development, explore career pathways in climate advocacy, and build confidence as youth leaders.
Benefits of Joining the Youth Advisory Group
Members receive £15 per hour for all required meetings and activities. Additional benefits include:
