Black at Microsoft Scholarship Program 2026: $5,000 Scholarships for STEM & Business-Bound High School Seniors
The Black at Microsoft Scholarship Program 2026 is a national undergraduate scholarship initiative designed to support high-achieving Black high school seniors who are passionate about technology, innovation, and business leadership. Established by the Black at Microsoft Inclusion Network and The Seattle Foundation, and administered by Scholarship America, the program provides financial assistance and recognition to students pursuing STEM or Business degrees at accredited four-year universities in the United States.
This scholarship aims to empower the next generation of Black leaders by increasing access to higher education in fields where representation remains limited.

Recipients of the Black at Microsoft Scholarship Program receive:

Five $5,000 scholarships, renewable for up to three additional years (based on academic performance)

Fifty $2,500 one-time scholarships

Recognition from one of the world’s leading technology companies

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be a current high school senior

Plan to enroll full-time at a four-year U.S. college or university in Fall 2026

Intend to major in an eligible STEM or Business-related field

Demonstrate a passion for technology

Show leadership in school or community activities

Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Demonstrate financial need as assessed by Scholarship America
International students are eligible if enrolling in a U.S. institution. Employees of Microsoft and their children are not eligible.

Finalists are reviewed by Scholarship America, with final selection made by Microsoft.
