Eco-Leaders Training Program (6th Cohort): Call for Applications for Youth Climate Innovators
The Eco-Leaders Training Program (6th Cohort) is now open for applications, inviting youth-led teams and organizations working in climate action and environmental sustainability to participate in a high-impact capacity-building experience.
Implemented by The Earth Society and funded by the British High Commission, this three-day in-person training program is designed to empower young people with the knowledge, leadership skills, and project management tools needed to develop practical, community-based green solutions.
The programme targets innovative youth groups with ideas in areas such as green business development, pollution reduction, circular economy practices, smart agriculture, renewable energy adoption, and climate action. Participants will work collaboratively to design implementable projects that address local environmental challenges and contribute to sustainable development.
What the Program Offers
Participants will receive intensive training on:

Climate change and environmental sustainability

Just transition and renewable energy

Leadership development and teamwork
-
Project design and management
On the third day, teams will design a complete project or green business concept. Based on objectives, feasibility, innovation, and community impact, selected projects will receive seed funding and mentorship to support implementation.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Age: 18–35 years

Team size: 4 members per group

Gender requirement: At least 2 female members per team

Training dates: 23–25 February 2026

Application deadline: 10 February 2026
Participants will receive a travel allowance in accordance with the project policy.
Women, indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and individuals from climate-vulnerable areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
