About the Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO

Launched in 2021 by the UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (UN Women ECARO), the Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO is a pioneering platform designed to strengthen the ecosystem for women entrepreneurs.

The program is implemented across 14 countries: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244), Kyrgyzstan, Montenegro, Moldova, North Macedonia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

Starting February 2026, UN Women will work closely with 65 scalable women-led companies (five from each participating country) over a three-month intensive growth journey. Selected businesses will engage in group sessions, receive personalized mentorship, and ultimately pitch their ideas at the EXPO Capital Quest—an event designed to catalyze investment and expansion.

To ensure each entrepreneur receives the right support, mentors will be matched based on their expertise and the specific needs of the businesses.

Who We’re Looking For

UN Women welcomes applicants who demonstrate:

• At least five years of experience in a relevant area of expertise
• A strong commitment to advancing women’s empowerment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine desire to make a positive impact
