University College London (UCL), a global Top 10 university, is offering Global Scholarships for Undergraduate and Master’s students for the 2026/27 academic session. UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be from any country outside the UK

- Come from a low-income background
- Have submitted an application for a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL for 2026/27
UCL generally considers low income as household income of £42,875 or less, although applications may still be considered above this threshold.
Value, Benefits, and Duration
Up to 33 scholarships will be awarded for 2026/27, including:
- 10 awards covering full tuition fees, a maintenance allowance, and a fixed allowance for additional costs such as visa and immigration health surcharge
- 20 awards covering full tuition fees only
- 3 awards covering full tuition fees specifically for students from India
The scholarship is valid for the standard duration of the undergraduate programme.
Important Requirements
- Any programme change must be reported to the Student Funding Office (SFO) to ensure continued eligibility
- Recipients must inform the SFO of any additional funding received at any stage
Selection and Results
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide financial evidence around mid-May 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by 3 June 2026.

UCL Global Master’s Scholarship
The UCL Global Master’s Scholarship supports international students from lower-income backgrounds to pursue a full-time, on-campus Master’s degree at UCL.

- Be eligible to pay the overseas fee rate
- Come from a lower-income background
- Have submitted a complete admission application (including references) for a full-time Master’s programme at UCL for 2026/27
- Be studying on campus in the UK
Value, Benefits, and Duration
- Up to 85 scholarships available for 2026/27
- Five awards are ring-fenced for students from India and one for a student from Japan
- The £15,000 award is applied first to tuition fees, with any remaining amount paid to the student in instalments for living costs
- For two-year programmes, the award is split equally across both years
- The scholarship may be held alongside other funding, subject to disclosure
Selection and Results
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted in mid-May to provide financial evidence. Successful applicants are typically informed by late June 2026.
