About the Volvo Environment Prize

Who Awards the Prize?
The Volvo Environment Prize is awarded by an Independent Foundation hosted at the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics, part of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. The Volvo Environment Prize 2025 is now accepting nominations from around the world. Individuals and institutions may nominate outstanding researchers whose work embodies scientific excellence and meaningful environmental impact.
