Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the American University of Beirut (AUB): Fully Funded Undergraduate and Post-graduate Scholarships 2026–2027
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the American University of Beirut (AUB) offers fully funded undergraduate and graduate scholarships for talented young people with demonstrated leadership potential and a strong commitment to community service. Hosted by AUB’s Faculty of Health Sciences, the program is designed to promote population health and well-being through quality higher education while preparing Scholars to become agents of change in their communities, countries, and regions.
About the Program
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program provides comprehensive financial support and a holistic learning experience. In addition to degree coursework, Scholars participate in leadership development workshops, personal and professional skills training, community engagement activities, and fieldwork. The program emphasizes academic advancement, personal development, cultural exchange, civic engagement, and community service.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Applicants must:

Be 35 years old or younger
-
Have strong academic standing in their previous degree

Demonstrate talent that exceeds financial resources
-
Show leadership potential and commitment to community engagement
-
Commit to additional learning experiences and workshops required by the Scholars Program
-
Demonstrate Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE) by May 31, 2026

How to Apply

Complete the AUB online graduate application and upload all required documents by the deadline.

Select Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program under the Financial Opportunities section of the application.

For master’s applicants (not required for PhD): Complete the AUB Financial Aid Application, accessible after submitting the graduate application.
Important: Applications are considered complete only after submitting both the AUB online graduate application and the AUB Financial Aid Application.
