A Fully Funded Scholarship

All applicants are automatically considered for the highly competitive Erasmus Mundus EMINENT Scholarship, which includes:

  • Full tuition coverage for 2 years
  • €1,400 monthly stipend (living costs + travel + accommodation contribution)

  • Mobility support across partner countries

Students who are admitted but not selected for the full scholarship may still apply for Erasmus+ funding (for year 2) or external scholarships such as DAAD.

Eligibility & Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BEng) in:
    Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Equivalent to at least 180 ECTS
  • Final grade must translate to ≥ 2.7 in the German grading system
  • Conditional admission possible if the degree is pending

English Language Requirements

  • Upper B2 level via an accepted standardized test:
    TOEFL iBT ≥ 93, IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no section < 6), PTE ≥ 63, Cambridge ≥ 178, Oxford ≥ 137
  • Exemptions apply for degrees fully taught in English in eligible countries or nationals of countries where English is the sole official language

  • Two academic reference letters (one may be non-academic PhD holder)
  • Transcript & degree certificate (or official proof of pending graduation)
  • Optional: publications, soft skills certificates, work experience

Important Dates

  • Admission results: May 2026
  • Visa process for non-EU students: Start immediately after acceptance
  • Start of studies (HMU, Greece): Late September / Early October 2026
