Background and Overview of the Global Excellence Scholarship

The University of Western Australia, a leading research-intensive institution and a member of Australia’s Group of Eight universities, offers the Global Excellence Scholarship annually to attract top global talent. The scholarship is aimed at students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and wish to pursue eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs at UWA.

The final value of the award is determined by the student’s equivalent Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) for undergraduate applicants or Weighted Average Mark (WAM) for postgraduate applicants, as assessed by UWA Admissions upon submission of academic transcripts.
