The WeWork – Green and Decent Jobs for Youth Project 2026 is now accepting applications from early-stage youth entrepreneurs building green or eco-friendly businesses. This initiative supports young innovators with practical training, mentorship, business development guidance, and seed funding—helping them strengthen sustainable business models while contributing to climate action and environmental protection.

This program is designed to create green jobs, foster sustainable livelihoods, and scale youth-led solutions across Uganda’s growing green and circular economy.


WeWork – Green and Decent Jobs for Youth Project 2026 Summary

The project focuses on empowering youth-led green businesses that are developing eco-friendly products or services. Selected entrepreneurs will receive structured business training, personalized mentorship, technical assistance, and seed capital to advance their ventures. The initiative aims to boost entrepreneurship, support inclusive economic growth, and promote environmental resilience.


Who Can Apply?

The program is open to youth-led enterprises operating in the green and circular economy. Ideal applicants include:

WeWork – Green and Decent Jobs for Youth is a 24-month initiative implemented in partnership with Enabel, the Belgian Development Agency, and funded by the European Union and Belgium under the Global Gateway strategy.
