The WeWork – Green and Decent Jobs for Youth Project 2026 is now accepting applications from early-stage youth entrepreneurs building green or eco-friendly businesses. This initiative supports young innovators with practical training, mentorship, business development guidance, and seed funding—helping them strengthen sustainable business models while contributing to climate action and environmental protection.
This program is designed to create green jobs, foster sustainable livelihoods, and scale youth-led solutions across Uganda’s growing green and circular economy.
WeWork – Green and Decent Jobs for Youth Project 2026 Summary
The project focuses on empowering youth-led green businesses that are developing eco-friendly products or services. Selected entrepreneurs will receive structured business training, personalized mentorship, technical assistance, and seed capital to advance their ventures. The initiative aims to boost entrepreneurship, support inclusive economic growth, and promote environmental resilience.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to youth-led enterprises operating in the green and circular economy. Ideal applicants include:

Young entrepreneurs aged 18–35

Early-stage businesses with a prototype, early traction, or proof of concept

Startups, social enterprises, and small businesses offering green or eco-friendly solutions

Bootcamp & Pitching Week
Participants attend a one-week residential bootcamp led by expert trainers. The program focuses on refining business models, strengthening financial planning, and preparing founders for pitching opportunities.
4.5-Month Coaching Phase
Founders who qualify for incubation receive tailored one-on-one coaching designed to boost:
