What Is the Prosperous Future Grant Programme?
The Prosperous Future Grant Programme was established to strengthen people-to-people cooperation and support civil society development in the Nordic-Baltic region. It aims to reinforce democratic values, sustainability, resilience, and knowledge exchange between key organisations in the region.
This initiative supports the Nordic Council of Ministers’ long-term strategy to make the Nordic region the world’s most sustainable and integrated region by 2030.
Strategic Priorities of the Programme
The Prosperous Future Grant Programme supports projects aligned with the three strategic pillars of Vision 2030:
1. A Green Region
Promoting climate action, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
2. A Competitive Region
Strengthening innovation, cooperation, and knowledge exchange across borders.
3. A Socially Sustainable Region
Supporting democracy, inclusion, equality, and resilient communities.
Projects must also integrate three cross-cutting perspectives:
