The Asia House Fellowship 2026/2027 is one of the most competitive and respected global research opportunities for early-career professionals who seek to contribute to the understanding of economic, political, and technological transformations across Asia and the Middle East. Now entering its fifth year, the Asia House program continues to support researchers who share Asia House’s mission of strengthening relations between Asia, the Middle East, and Europe through rigorous and impactful research.

This programme offers two program positions for the 2026/2027 cycle. Selected Fellows will develop a 12-month research project on a theme shaping change across Asia and/or the Middle East. Their final research will be published and distributed through Asia House’s influential networks of policymakers, business leaders, academics, and global stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Asia House Program , candidates must:

• Have completed a Master’s degree and/or PhD by October 2026

• Be fluent in written and spoken English

• Be in the early stages of their career

• Have strong knowledge of economic, political, or commercial issues related to Asia and/or the Middle East

• Demonstrate self-direction, motivation, and leadership potential
