The United Nations Academic Impact and MCN proudly present the Millennium Fellowship.  The program convenes, challenges, and celebrates bold undergraduate students advancing the Sustainable Development Goals on campus and in communities.  As a Millennium Fellow, you will hone your skills, take concrete action, and earn recognition. There is no cost for selected students.

Running from August to November 2026, the Millennium Fellowship helps students elevate their leadership, strengthen their social impact projects, and join a global network of purpose-driven young leaders.

What Is the Millennium Fellowship?

The Millennium Fellowship is a highly competitive, campus-based leadership program designed for undergraduate students dedicated to making a difference. During the fellowship, students enhance their skills, execute meaningful projects, and collaborate with peers who share a commitment to positive change.

Application Process for the Millennium Fellowship 2026

The selection process includes two competitive rounds:

Round 1: Initial Application

Round 1 allows the review team to learn about your motivation and passion for social impact.

Round 2: Final Evaluation

Applicants who pass Round 1 will receive an email invitation to complete Round 2.

In this round, you will be asked to provide:

Encouraging Campus Participation

For a campus to be considered eligible, at least 8 students must be selected.
To support this, campuses are encouraged to generate 15 or more applications.

Promotional content, email drafts, and outreach materials are available to help universities and students spread the word and boost participation.
