Transformative Vision
Your idea should offer a compelling solution to a critical global issue—climate change, health, education, equity, justice—and aim to radically improve the current state of the world.
Significant, Enduring Impact
Your vision should accelerate meaningful change not over generations, but within years. We’re looking for ideas that leap forward, not small steps.
Innovative and Original
There should be something distinctly bold—an approach that challenges conventional thinking or rewrites the narrative for the greater good.
Convince
Proven Concept
Your idea should be backed by evidence, a strong track record of results, and measurable demand from those who would be affected.
Clear Outcomes
What would success look like after a multi-year funding cycle? What transformation would happen as a result of your work? We’re interested in impact, not just activity.
Established Support
Your nonprofit, NGO, or institution must have an annual operating budget of $2 million or more, with the structure in place to manage large-scale philanthropic funds. Collaborative applications across multiple organizations are welcome.
How It Works
Each year, The Audacious Project sources bold ideas from around the world through partners, donors, and our open submission process.
There are no fixed deadlines—submissions are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Please note that, due to volume, we are unable to respond to each application individually.
Note: The 2025 cohort has been selected. All new ideas submitted after June 15, 2025, will be considered for upcoming cycles.

FAQs
Who can apply?
Individuals aged 18+ may apply on behalf of a nonprofit, NGO, institution, or a collaborative effort between organizations. Minimum annual operating budget: $2 million.
Can multiple organizations apply together?
Yes. Some of the most powerful ideas have come from collaborative teams across entities.
Do I need to apply each cycle?
No. A single submission is sufficient. We review all submissions as part of our rolling evaluation process.
