Fully Funded Mentorship: African Youth Environmental Changemakers 2025
Are you a young African environmental changemaker between the ages of 18 and 28 looking to take your leadership and impact to the next level? The Pledge for Nature Launchpad 2025 Mentorship Program is now accepting applications!
This fully funded eight-week mentorship program is organized by the Youth for Environmental Conservation Initiative (formerly Friends of Nature Network) with support from Global Changemakers. It offers a transformative learning and leadership experience designed to equip young environmental leaders with the skills, knowledge, and network they need to scale their initiatives across Africa.

Sessions are tailored to your needs and conducted on accessible virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp).
Eligibility

Open to youth aged 18–28 from any African country
-
Must be willing to commit at least one hour per week for the duration of the program

Must implement an environmental education project in your local community as part of your completion requirement
Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to maintain the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, cultural respect, and accountability throughout the program. This includes maintaining confidentiality, engaging constructively, and demonstrating leadership by example.
