Funding for Transnational Actions on Asylum, Migration, and Integration (AMIF) 2025

Funding for Transnational Actions on Asylum, Migration, and Integration (AMIF) 2025

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs has officially launched the the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) call for proposals . This call invites civil society organizations, public authorities, and other eligible entities across the EU to submit transnational project proposals that advance the integration and inclusion of third-country nationals.

Priority Topics

Applicants can choose one of the following five priority areas. Each proposal must focus on a single topic only:

  1. Support Measures for Migrant Women’s Social and Economic Integration (WOMEN)
This stream focuses on the challenges and opportunities faced by migrant women. Projects should address labour market participation, whole-of-family integration, empowerment for vulnerable groups, and collaboration between local actors.

  2. Access to Healthcare for Migrants (HEALTH)
This topic targets improved outreach and access to general and mental health services for migrants. Proposals should focus on awareness-raising, co-designed interventions with migrant communities, and training of healthcare providers.

  3. Improving Digital Skills Among Migrants (DIGITAL)
Bridging the digital divide is key to integration. This theme encourages the development of digital literacy programs tailored to migrants, especially vulnerable subgroups like elderly, women, and persons with disabilities.

  4. Complementary Pathways Linked to Education (PATHWAYS)
Projects in this stream will facilitate access to higher education or vocational training for persons in need of protection, such as refugees. Emphasis is placed on building partnerships with universities, local authorities, and NGOs.

  5. Protection of Children in Migration: Multidisciplinary Age Assessment (CHILDREN)
This topic aims to help Member States implement the EU’s new age assessment standards under the Asylum Procedures Regulation. Projects may include training, sharing best practices, and developing coordination mechanisms.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants must be:

  • Based in an EU Member State (including overseas territories)

  • Legally established public bodies, NGOs, international organizations, or research institutions

  • Part of a transnational consortium involving at least two independent legal entities from two different EU Member States

Only EU Member States are eligible for this call; applicants from other continents or third countries are not eligible.
