The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) offers a fully funded opportunity for academically talented, economically disadvantaged young Africans to pursue undergraduate degrees in Nigeria. Pan-Atlantic University is the first Nigerian university to partner with the Mastercard Foundation on this initiative, with a goal to educate and empower 650 young scholars over the next ten years.

Who Can Apply

The program is open to young Africans who meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrate academic excellence

• Are from financially disadvantaged backgrounds

• Are young women interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) disciplines

• Are internally displaced persons

Minimum Academic Requirements

• At least five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB

• A minimum UTME score of 220

• UTME subject combination must include English Language and any three subjects from Social Science, Arts, or Sciences
