Join the new UN online training courses on Sports for Climate Action. Learn how to make sports organizations sustainable. Free, self-paced, and open to all.
A specialized training series tailored for grassroots sports NGOs is currently in development. This upcoming initiative will provide local communities with the knowledge and capacity to lead inclusive, place-based climate solutions through sport.
About the Courses
Two self-paced, free courses are now available on the UN CC: e-Learn platform:
1. Introduction to Sports for Climate Action
- For anyone exploring the connection between sports and climate change
- Covers sport’s environmental impact and the path to sustainability
- 4 short modules (~1 hour 20 minutes)
- Includes interactive lessons, videos, and quizzes
2. Sports for Climate Action (Advanced)
- For professionals in sports organizations
- Offers strategic guidance on operations, business planning, and stakeholder engagement
- 5 in-depth modules (~4 hours)
- Features case studies, expert interviews, and practical tools
