Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, including due diligence, financial modeling, and sensitivity testing.
- Analyze financial statements and market research to identify investment opportunities.
- Prepare sector mapping to target potential clients and business opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of country and sector strategies and client presentations.
- Engage with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality investment proposals.
- Prepare investment approval documentation in accordance with IFC’s guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, financial consulting, or related fields.
- Strong financial statement analysis and modeling skills.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong commitment to development and IFC’s mission.
- Language proficiency requirements vary by region, with preferences for French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Arabic in specific locations.
