We are thrilled to announce that applications for the 2025 Young Global Changers (YGC) Awards are officially open! This prestigious award recognizes young changemakers and their groundbreaking projects or initiatives, aimed at making a real impact on global challenges.
Why Apply?
The YGC Awards spotlight innovative ideas that address recoupling objectives—efforts that align economic and political activities with social and environmental needs. The 15 finalists will be invited to Berlin, where they will participate in the YGC program and present their projects at the 2025 Global Solutions Summit, held on May 5-6, 2025.
Selected projects will be showcased both on-site and online, giving finalists the chance to share their work with a global audience and a distinguished panel of experts.
Award Categories
The 2025 YGC Awards are divided into three impactful categories, each focusing on unique approaches to global issues:
- Reimagine Business: Redefining business models for sustainability.
- Reimagine Social and Climate Action: Pioneering initiatives for climate and social progress.
- Reimagine Civic Engagement: Empowering civic involvement in solving pressing challenges.
Whether you’re an entrepreneur, activist, or innovator, we want to see how your project is changing the world.
How to Apply
Applying is simple! Submit a project description along with a short video explaining your initiative. Our jury will assess each project based on its originality, its contribution to aligning economic or political activities with social needs, and its focus on environmental sustainability.
The top 50 entries will be highlighted on the Global Solutions website, and their creators will join the Young Global Changers class of 2025, becoming part of an inspiring community of over 500 young leaders. The 15 selected finalists will be invited to Berlin from May 2-7, 2025, for a week of events, including participation in the Global Solutions Summit.
