Role Overview
The Associate Learning Officer will work under the supervision of the Chief Instructional Designer, focusing on the development and management of e-learning courses. The role involves instructional design, collaboration with partners, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences aligned with UN standards. Read the call for applications here.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Design: Develop and review e-learning content using pedagogical principles, ensuring quality and alignment with learning outcomes.
- Project Management: Coordinate the development of e-learning projects, collaborating with external vendors and in-house teams.
- Collaboration: Work with subject matter experts and multimedia designers to integrate advanced technologies and ensure the seamless delivery of learning solutions.
- Course Delivery: Support both online and face-to-face learning experiences, ensuring effective participant engagement and course improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree in adult learning, instructional design, or educational technologies.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in learning management system (LMS) setup and administration, as well as e-learning instructional design. Proficiency in tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate is required.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another UN official language is an asset.
