About the Role:
The Youth Engagement Associate will work with the Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTFO) to accelerate youth engagement, a critical pillar for achieving the SDGs globally. The focus will be on empowering young people to become drivers of change by understanding the conditions facing vulnerable adolescents and advocating for greater investment in youth.
Responsibilities:
- Developing a roadmap for youth engagement
- Supporting key activities and initiatives with joint programs
- Building partnerships with organizations like UNICEF and the UN Secretary General’s Envoy on youth
- Organizing youth advocacy workshops and events
- Creating a youth advocacy hub and internship program
- Developing human-interest stories and communication assets
- Supporting social media content creation
Eligibility:
- Age: 18-80
- Nationality: Must be a national or legal resident of Colombia
- Experience: 2 years in youth network or NGO, preferably in youth engagement
- Language: Fluent in English and Spanish, working knowledge of French
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in international relations, law, social sciences, or related field
