The North-South Centre of the Council of Europe is excited to announce a Tutored Online Training Course on Global Education and Intercultural/Interfaith Dialogue, running from 7 October to 3 November 2024. This course is part of the iLEGEND III project and is designed to enhance skills and knowledge in Global Education, Intercultural/Interfaith Dialogue, and Human Rights.

Target Audience:
- Education practitioners (formal and non-formal sectors)
- Media professionals
- Members of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs)
Course Objectives:
- Reflect on Global Education concepts, principles, and methodology
- Analyze notions related to Intercultural/Interfaith Dialogue, such as culture, discrimination, racism, and inclusion/exclusion
- Develop competencies in conflict resolution and promoting a culture of peace and non-violence
- Foster networking among participants engaged in global awareness and educational actions
The course framework is based on the Global Education Guidelines developed by the North-South Centre. Participants will engage in collaborative and interactive activities through a non-formal learning approach, guided by two tutors over the course duration.
Eligibility:
- 40 participants will be selected
- Preferably aged 18-30
- Residents of North-South Centre member states, Southern neighborhood countries, Sub-Saharan Africa, or Council of Europe member states
- A limited number of spots are available for applicants from other countries
