Join UNOY (United Network of Young): Drive Peacebuilding and Shape the Future

To join the UNOY network, member organisations must meet the following criteria:

•Youth-led: At least two-thirds of the leading and paid staff must be under 35.

•Peacebuilding Focus: Active in peacebuilding with a commitment to fostering a culture of peace and nonviolence.

•Engagement: Able to participate in compulsory network activities, including quarterly regional online meetings, an annual impact review survey, and strategic planning.

•Collaboration: Eager to collaborate, share updates, and learn from other UNOY members.

•Local and Global Action: Inspired to act locally while maintaining a global spirit of solidarity.

UNOY members enjoy numerous advantages, including:

•Global Community: Engage with a global network of youth-led peacebuilding organisations, benefiting from peer-learning sessions and solidarity acts.

•Strategic Collaboration: Co-create regional strategies and plans for joint actions, advocating for the role of young people in peace.

•Funding Opportunities: Increase chances of securing funding by collaborating on projects with other UNOY members.

•Thematic Participation: Join thematic groups such as African, American, and Asian UNOY advocacy teams.

•Skill Sharing: Share and gain peacebuilding skills through organised peer-learning sessions.

•Capacity Development: Access global and regional activities, trainings, toolkits, reports, and manuals provided by UNOY and its members.

•Increased Visibility: Amplify your work and voice internationally through UNOY’s platforms, social media, and publications.

•Leadership Opportunities: Apply for roles such as Regional Coordinator or International Steering Group Representative.

•Not a Funding Agency: UNOY does not provide funding or act as a donor agency.

•Not the United Nations: While UNOY collaborates with international entities, it is not part of the United Nations.

•No External Funding Review: UNOY does not review or facilitate members’ applications for external funding due to limited capacities.
