Apply for ODIHR/FES School on Politics, Leadership and Advocacy in Poland

Overview

  • This course is part of ODIHR’s four-year project ‘Building Stronger Democratic Institutions in Eastern Partnership Countries’, supported by the European Commission and co-financed by the Government of Italy.

Date and Location

  • When: 18 November 2024 (All day) – 22 November 2024 (All day)
  • Where: Warsaw, Poland
  • Organized by OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES)

Goals

  • Strengthen democratic institutions by enhancing the capacity of young politicians and activists.
  • Promote youth political participation in the OSCE participating States.
  • Provide instruction on leadership, advocacy campaigning, negotiations, team building, and policy analysis skills.

Eligible Candidates

  • 19 participants will be selected from OSCE participating States: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, as well as 6 participants from other countries in Europe.
  • Age range of participants should be 18-35 years old.
  • Must meet specific criteria such as being a citizen of an OSCE country or being elected in parliament.

Application

  • Deadline: by Friday, 20 September 2024 (including this date) at 23:59 CEST
  • The curriculum includes experiential learning, expert lectures, and small group work in English.
