Call for Applications: Fully-funded East African Community (EAC) Youth Fellowship 2024
The East African Community (EAC) Youth Fellowship is now accepting applications for its 2024 cohort. This prestigious initiative is designed to engage and empower young people across the EAC, promoting active participation in regional integration and leadership. The fellowship offers a unique platform to harness the potential of youth, nurturing the next generation of leaders dedicated to regional cooperation and development.

This fellowship is a collaborative effort between several prominent organizations, including:
- MS TCDC through its Africa Youth Leadership Program (You Lead Africa)
- The East Africa Community Secretariat
- Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete Foundation
- Julius Nyerere Leadership Centre (JNLC)
- Emerging Leaders Foundation
Thematic Focus Areas:
- Youth in Politics: Reinventing youth leadership in public sector governance.
- Youth in Business: Enhancing opportunities for young entrepreneurs and creating a youth-friendly business environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the EAC Youth Fellowship, applicants must:
- Be aged between 18-35 years.
- Be a citizen of an EAC Partner State and reside in one of these states.
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrate understanding and capabilities in regional integration, leadership, business, economic governance, or related fields.
