About the Program:

The Archbishop Tutu Leadership Programme (ATLP) is the flagship programme of the African Leadership Institute, aimed at nurturing and enhancing leadership capabilities across Africa.

Each year, around 25 high-potential individuals from various sectors are selected for the prestigious ATLP, following a competitive selection process. This article provides detailed information about the programme and its eligibility criteria.

About the Institute:

The Goal of the African Leadership Institute The AFLI aims to create a network of high-potential young Africans who will rise to leadership positions in the next 5-10 years and contribute to positive change on the continent.

The ATLP, in partnership with Oxford University’s Said Business School, offers a 5-month part-time programme focusing on African leadership in a global context. Participants engage in workshops, assignments, and a community project to enhance their leadership capabilities.

Selection Process and Key Dates

  1. Nominators are encouraged to complete the Nomination Form for proposed candidates, with nominations opening in August and closing in September.
  2. Short-listed candidates will be required to complete an Application Form and undergo a selection process to be considered for the programme. ‘
  3. The final selection of candidates will be announced in early February, with the programme workshops scheduled for May and September.
