The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) is looking for an Intern to join the Governance Support Office (GSO) within the Office of the Director-General (ODG) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and organizing contact databases for parliamentary and youth networks
- Researching and updating contact databases based on electoral cycles in IRENA Member States
- Assisting in organizing engagement meetings and developing relevant documents
- Supporting the development of communication materials targeted at youth and parliamentarians
- Researching and compiling briefs for parliamentary and youth meetings
- Maintaining accurate records and background information for meetings organized by IRENA
- Supporting web content development and management

Qualifications
- Advanced undergraduate or Master’s/doctorate student at a recognized university
- Fluent in English with excellent writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of Arabic and French is an advantage
- Familiarity with social media communication strategies and content management systems
- Strong teamwork, planning, and organizational skills
Internship Details
- Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
- Remuneration: USD 1,200 monthly stipend
- Full-time position (40 hours per week) at IRENA Headquarters in Abu Dhabi, UAE
